Platform Terms & Conditions

By creating a workspace, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation.

uInstructor is a white-label platform: your own branded site, checkout, courses, assessments, gamification and AI-assisted tools, run under your own name for your own students. We don't teach your courses or interact with your students directly — you own that relationship end to end, including your own pricing, refund policy and legal terms toward them.

• Your plan's price, included features and usage allowances are shown on our pricing page at signup and may change — we'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change before it applies to your next renewal.
• Subscriptions renew automatically and are billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime; cancelling stops the next renewal, your access continues until the period you already paid for ends.
• A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends — we tell you the exact trial length at signup.

Your plan includes a monthly allowance for resource-intensive features — the AI tutor, AI Studio content generation, AI-generated images, video hosting and streaming, and similar features that cost us money to run per use. Current allowances and what they cover are described on our pricing page.

• Reaching your plan's allowance in a given month may pause further use of that feature until the next monthly reset, or until you upgrade or purchase additional capacity, whichever we offer at the time.
• You can avoid these limits for a specific AI feature by connecting your own API key for that provider in Settings → Integrations — usage on your own key is never counted against your plan's allowance.
• We may adjust how usage allowances are measured or priced as our own underlying costs change, with the same 30 days' notice as a price change.

• You own the content you upload — course material, branding, product listings, AI Context instructions, and anything your team creates on the platform.
• You are responsible for having your own lawful basis, privacy notice and terms toward your students — uInstructor processes your students' data on your behalf, as the tool you've chosen to run your business, not as the party responsible for your compliance with education or consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction.
• If your centre serves minors, you're responsible for indicating that during onboarding (the "who are your learners" step) — this is what enables stricter content-safety settings on AI-generated content for your workspace, among other age-appropriate defaults.
• We don't use your content to train models for other customers.

You won't use the platform, including its AI-assisted features, to generate, upload or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, sexually explicit involving minors, or intended to harass or deceive. We can suspend a workspace that violates this without the notice described in §9, when the violation is serious enough to require immediate action.

We work to keep the platform available continuously, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — maintenance windows, third-party outages (payments, video, email, AI providers) and events outside our control can all cause downtime.

Some features depend on services you connect yourself — Stripe for payments, your own Google/ElevenLabs/AI provider keys, WhatsApp, Zoom, and similar. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; we're not a party to your agreement with them.

You can close your workspace at any time. We can suspend or terminate a workspace that breaches these terms, with notice, except for serious breaches (fraud, illegal activity, the acceptable-use violations in §6) where we may act immediately.

We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are resolved by the competent Romanian courts.

We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated at least 30 days in advance, by email or in the app. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect means you accept it.
